An idyllic rural Werrington scene with the Three Horseshoes pub on the immediate right. The building on the right, just behind the pub sign, was the old fire engine house which served both Werrington and Walton.
Amberley Slope, which now departs to the right, follows the course of an old narrow lane that led to Werrington’s famous cherry orchards.
