Two undated images showing steam through Cowbit Station on the Great Northern Railway’s March to Spalding line.
The station opened in 1867 and closed in 1961 with the line being closed and rapidly lifted in 1982. The station building and signal box have been well preserved and are familiar landmarks in the village today (2013).
